Lehman trilogy returns on Broadway on September 25 at the Nederlander Theater before the opening night on October 14. Two centuries of global financial history will once again unfold on the stage. Stage and screen favorite Adrian Lester will make his Broadway debut in the show. He replaced Ben Miles as Emanuel Lehman.
Former company member Simon Russell Beale joins as Henry Lehman and Adam Godley as Mayer Lehman. Myers will appear in the RSC stage play adapted from Hilary Mantel’s “Mirror and Light” this fall. “[Leicester] was the first person to offer this role, as early as when we first produced it at the National Theatre in London, so it felt like fate in a way,” Tony and Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes said who won the Olivier Award for his performance as Bobby in the production company Donmar Warehouse in 1996.

It depicts the humble beginnings, amazing successes, and devastating failures of this financial institution. These financial institutions will eventually have the global economy paralyzed. The Lehman trilogy’s design team includes scene designer Es Devlin, costume designer Katrina Lindsay, video designer Luke Halls, lighting designer Jon Clark, composer, and sound designer Nick Powell. The co-sound designer is Dominic Bilkey, music Director Candida Caldicot and associate director Zoé Ford Burnett collaborated with Polly Bennett. The Broadway show follows the English premiere at the National Theatre in London in 2018. And the North American premiere at the Park Avenue Armory in 2019, and the subsequent engagement in the West End. The Lehman trilogy was performed on Broadway by the National Theater and Neal Street Production Company.
