Is This a Room

A true story is still unfolding. June 3, 2017. A 25-year-old former Air Force linguist named Reality Winner was surprised by the FBI’s interrogation at her home. She was subsequently accused of leaking evidence of Russian interference in the US election. The reality is still in prison and was sentenced to a record sentence. In a complex and humorous reality (Emily David An extraordinary human drama unfolded with the agent who questioned her. As the autonomy of reality shrinks before her eyes, a thrilling real-life thriller appears, asking what it is to be honored at this American moment and how individuals can have a global response.

Dana H.

A heart-wrenching true story, Dana was captured for five months-trapped in a series of motels in Florida, lost and scared. Narrated in Dana’s own words and rebuilt on the stage by her son Lucas Hnath (Doll’s House Part 2, Christian), this innovative work breaks the boundaries of art forms and breaks our understanding of good and evil. With Deirdre O’Connell’s “Simply Surprising” performance (Time Out NY), he won the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Solo Performance and Lotter and Obi Awards.
