Plaza Suite has extended its run through July 10!

This is an extension of more than a month above the planned run. Initially, Plaza Suite was scheduled to run through June 12, with plans to extend until July 1.
Besides superstar couple Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker, Plaza Suite’s cast includes Danny Bolero, Molly Ranson, and Eric Wiegand. Tony winner Michael McGrath and Tony nominee Erin Dilly standby for Broderick and Parker, respectively, with Laurie Veldheer, Cesar J. Rosado, Brian Eng, and Olivia Hernandez serving as understudies.
Major setbacks
Plaza Suite was initially planned to arrive on Broadway somewhere in the spring of 2020. Sadly theaters closed down due to the COVID-19 outbreak the day before previews began.
Since its official return on Broadway from the COVID hiatus on February 25, Plaza Suite suffered several setbacks. The most significant one was between April 7 and April 13 due to a surge in COVID-19 cases, including star couples Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. He was the first one to call in sick but was replaced by his standby Michael McGrath. That is when the first extension came into place – the run was extended until July 6 to allow ticketholders to make up for canceled shows.
