Dolph Ziggler confronted NXT Champion Bron Breakker
Bron Breakker had just completed his first NXT title defense on Revengeance Day. He vowed to do everything in his power to enter NXT Stand & Deliver as a champion. That is until Dolph Ziggler came out to remind Breakker that April 2 was far from here.
Solo Sikoa evened the odds in The Creed Brothers’ brawl with Imperium
The Creed Brothers revealed in a Dusty Cup victory that brought them closer to the NXT Tag Team Title. They claim they’ll overtake Imperium. The comments drew the ire of Marcel Barthel, Fabian Aichner, and Gunther. Imperium stormed into the ring in an all-out scrimmage after a heated back-and-forth. As Gunther was about to punch Malcolm Bivens, Solo Sikoa popped in and super kicked The Ring General down.
Dolph Ziggler def. Tommaso Ciampa
“Big Bob” helped team partner Dolph Ziggler to a big win in a tough Main Event matchup against Tommaso Ciampa. In the “Home” fight, Blackheart feuded with the former world heavyweight champion. While Ziegler focused his attack on Ciampa’s previously injured neck. After one encounter, the two-time NXT champion’s knee was exposed, stunned Ziegler, and prepared him for a near fall. The two superstars continue to brutalize each other in a blockbuster duel. Fans wished they could fight forever.
Both were exhausted after a brutal fight, and Ciampa was pushing Ziggler back into the ring to get the job done. Then a ring-side photographer slapped the camera on his back. Ziggler hits a devastating Superkick with a dizzy Ciampa and takes the win.
As Ziegler celebrated, the photographer took off his mask to reveal Robert Rudd. The pair then continued to pound Ciampa after the bell. Until NXT champion Bron Breakker stormed into the ring to save The Blackheart and launched a doubles challenge before the four superstars sparred over the show’s suspension.
